I have friends who live in the Gateway District (I have a hard time accepting that name...strikes me as a euphemism to make the area seem safe and hip) and word is apparently spreading to show a united front of support for Tuckers and demonstrate to the thugs that they can't scare people off. Who knows but that this may end up giving the old place an unexpected boost.

Rally around Tucker's - Why? From the reports I have read the target was neither of the two people shot. Tucker's just happened to be the venue. I see no way this is a good thing for OTR, no matter how it is spun. If OTR wants something positive then someone speak up and identify the thugs who did this and bring them down.

No one was killed in the Tucker's shooting, though one person is still hospitalized.

Mariemont is not part of the city of Cincinnati, though it is in Hamilton County. Since murders there are so ultra-rare (it's been decades since the last one according to the Enquirer), the Cincinnati police are handling the case.

I read on Channel 12's site that the young lady who got shot is in a medically induced coma and doctors think she will be paralyzed from the chest down. Please pray for her.
