How much are you wanting to spend on rent? Would you like a large apartment complex, or perhaps a smaller 4-family building? Anything else you'd like us to take into consideration before offering suggestions?

BTW...welcome to the area!

I'll go with the assumption you're only looking for a 1-bedroom...? If you're looking for more than that, you're going to have a tough time finding something decent in the $750 range.

I'm not familiar with complexes in Loveland, so I can't offer you guidance there. But with respect to West Chester, you could check out The Lakes at West Chester, The Landings at Beckett Ridge and the Preserve at Beckett Ridge. Anything in Mason is probably going to be too expensive for you, even for a 1-bedroom.

I truly don't mean to burst your bubble, but you're going to be very hard-pressed to find a decent 1-bedroom in a nice complex in West Chester or Mason for only $750 a month. You would probably have an easier time looking for something in a more privately owned building or duplex.

I'd agree. Mason/WestChester are a little pricier areas for suburban.

When I rented (2 years ago), we got a 2 bedroom condo (private rental) for $1000/month in MONROE. We couldn't even touch the prices in WestChester/Mason - they were a few hundred more.

As far as safety goes, for most of WestChester at least - even an older complex without amenities should be pretty safe - just not as "pretty".

If you’re looking for a house or an apartment in a particular neighborhood, ride around in the neighborhood and look closely for signs in the yards. Some home owners don’t advertise but merely depend on word of mouth if they are in a desirable location.

You're unlikely to find an apartment in Mason, Loveland, etc. for anything remotely close to $750 a month. Rent that low could be kind of hard to find even in a less desirable area.

Those are all considered to be safe areas. However, I think it will be tough to find an apartment for $750.

One may exist, but not in a large complex. Might be in an old house that has been divided up into apartments, or a small apartment building. These could still be decent apartments though.

Its been a long time since I've rented. Not sure if craigslist is still any good for this. Maybe Facebook or Next Door?
