My husband got out of the military almost two years ago. We moved to Cincinnati a few days after his papers were signed. In that time I've experienced several lay offs. He's been employed with the same company since we moved here, but was recently informed that the company is downsizing and he will be laid off by the end of this month. It sucks, but it has also motivated him to do something I was trying to get him to do for years- go back to college. He's 31 and majoring in something computer related.

I hear that the job market in Chicago isn't any better than in Cincinnati, but I'm thinking it has to be slightly better as Cincinnati has been struggling for many many years to attract businesses and it's been failing with the exception of retail stores.

I'm finishing up my Associates degree in pre-law and intend of getting my bachelors in Political Science and then hopefully my Masters in Public Administration. I'm also getting my legal assistant certificate in the hopes that I can find a job easily with that.... long story short given the information on our current interests is the possibility of finding some form of stabilty in those areas realistic?
