Even more reason. You just get some part-time person to do the job of small town mayor on a mostly volunteer basis like other small towns across the country. Sounds like they're broke so they could use that 200k to make the payments on their police cars.

That's crazy. That woman belongs in jail for a very long time. She also deserves to pay lots and lots of restitution but it's likely she will get out of jail in a few years and then be broke. Can't squeeze blood from a turnip.

Someone posted on another site that she wants to be a Reality Star. Looking through that lens everything she does makes more sense. She's setting herself up for when she's no longer mayor and can be "reality famous" on tv or tiktok or OF.

The grift is strong with this one. Heopfully she will be holding hands with Fani Willis in a church somewhere, preferably in a federal prison.

I had heard that also (the reality TV thing) - I think that is her next dream gig.

Seems she won't be able to do that now, unless her prison time is short and her story blows up big. If that happens she can be like a Blago-lite and get some 15 mins of fame on a 2nd tier show.

I hate that the keep calling Dolton a small town. I mean it touches the south side. Does anyone call Cicero or Evanston small towns?
