Currently I am 6 weeks pregnant and I am totally confused in choosing between either one of these docs. Could anyone please share their experiences with either Dr. Meek or Dr. Pillai? Have to make a decision soon. TIA

All I know is my wife raves about Dr Sarah Morris at Carmel OB. My interactions as a dad with Dr Morris (3 days in the hospital) were awesome. She is really really funny and outgoing. Awesome personality, unlike most doctors. I know my wife wouldn't go to any other doctor. She delivered our daughter via scheduled C section (breech) and has been my wife OB for 10+ years.

My wife also goes to Dr. Morris and we love her.

First of all Congratulations !!

Dr Meek is just awesome.. He was my OBGYN and guess what on my D day his wife was on call and she is outstanding.. I was really blessed to have my first child delivered under their supervision.

He never forces any kind of medication on you without explaining why is that needed/pros/cons everything and also listens to what are your concerns about it. He is very pro-normal/natural delivery. Even if you are stressed out (just like I was since it was my first time) he will make you feel very relaxed and give you the confidence that it will be all OK !!

Good Luck and Wishing you the best in life!

I've been going to Dr Morris for 8 years, and am very happy. We had a significant issue with my pregnancy at one point, and I was literally crying in her office. She was very kind to me, as was her nurse.

I've also been hearing great things about both Drs. Meek since I moved here. I don't recall which is at Carmel, but I wouldn't hesitate from going to one of them if I had to. Many many people rave about them.

I know at Piedmont where Dr. Priya works, you just see the doctor on rotation. While you may like her and want her to deliver, unless you have a scheduled C Section, you're just going to get the Dr. On call. When t comes to that, your best bet is The Bradford Clinic. I've delivered with Piedmont GYN/OB and their Drs are ok, but I prefer Bradford.

I've seen Dr. Priya before and liked her but in my opinion she rushes, which may be a symptom of that practice overall.
