Just wondering if anyone has a cat who chews leather? Our nearly four year old has chewed the backs off of five pairs of my husbands dress shoes and left large holes in one pair of my sandals. We can't have people leave their shoes off, as is the custom here in Hawaii when you come in the house, because he goes after them. He has also chewed holes in the duvet and futon covers. There are teeth marks along the edge of the futon cover. He is a healthy black and white short hair we adopt from the local humane society. We have now put the new shoes in a hanging shoe bag out of reach but was wondering if anyone know of something to discourage the fabric chewing. Maybe a laundry additive? I would like to buy new linens for the bedroom!
