Even if my Canadian birth cert has my adoptive US parents on it?
I love Canada and have been in contact with blood relatives, but they are not sure.

I'm curious about a Canadian birth certificate that lists the names of parents. I have never seen a Canadian birth certificate that lists the names of parents, so chances are whatever you're looking at was not issued in Canada. I would suggest you apply to the vital stats office of whatever province you were born and request a birth certificate.
I stand corrected ... I just researched Canadian birth certificates and learned that British Columbia has something called a Parental Information Certificate that does include the names and birth places of parents. I suppose that means other provinces offer the same service.
Go online, print out the passport application form, send it in and see what happens. The worst thing that could happen is that you'll be asked for additional information, but at least you'll know what's involved in obtaining both passports ... assuming that's what you want.
