Does anyone hear keep them ?
The reason i ask is that i have just joined a couple of my aviaries together. To make a bigger one. And was wondering, i have a breeding pair that have breed and i kept a young female. Im looking around for a mate for her.
Im wondering weather adding a new male into the aviary with the established pair would be a feasible option. Or weather it would be better to put the new pair in another aviary.
Anyway thanks in advance for any advice guys.

Okay since you asked you cant just throw birds together and expect them to get along . I would keep breeding pairs seperate . Birds are funny creatures and sometimes they get along and sometimes they dont . Good luck the bourkes are beautiful I wanted one for the longest time but the price always kills me LOL !!!

Good advice. Have to agree with you 100%. It has been several years since I bred them myself.

They will do much better in a paired environment rather than in a colony one.
