I have five favorite teams and since three (Red Sox, Orioles and Rays) are American league, I'm going for that one!

Hmmm, I think I'll go for the home team. Even though I hate that park.

The National League is due for a win. I've picked them to win in my pre-season picks and have not wavered.

Being a fan of an AL team (Red Sox), I'd automatically pull for the AL any season. I can't yet even grudgingly say it would be sort of okay for the NL to get a breather from the AL's streak. I'm old enough to remember when the NL won every year. The AL still has a way to go to be dominant for as long as the NL was back then, so I'm hoping for more of what went around back then to keep coming around now.

I just want to see a good game. I would like to see Rivera close the game out just so he can get a well deserved ovation from the fans at Yankee Stadium. I am not a Yankee fan, but Rivera will go down as one of the best closers of all-time. He deserves a rocking ovation.

Damn it!!! why'd the AL have to win again???? Dan Uggla with his 3 K's and 3 errors in extra innings, how pathetic. But I'll hand it to you guys, though.....it was a well-fought victory

Uggla had a game that I think he is drinking away as we speak. He did not have a good game with three errors and his three punchouts.

What I was thinking was who was going to pitch if the game went to the 16th or 17th. Obviously there wasn't anyone left in the pen, and Bud (I have wrecked the game of baseball) Selig would never rule the game a tie.

JD Drew maybe? Now THAT would have been interesting.
