Despite the recent Phillies collapse they will be back and they will win the East. Myers is going to be traded to any team that wants him. I'd like to see Paul Byrd return via trade. Although getting up there in age he could pitch decent enough to propel the Phils to the playoffs and beyond. He never should have been traded to start with. That was all Larry Bowa's doing. They did'nt get along. Actually, no one got along with Bowa.

Well, I am not crowning anyone just yet (I have though), Philly is playing the Braves 7/1-7/3 so I hope the we make a dent into that 4 game lead they have over us. I am keeping an eye on the Mets (playing STL) and Philly (after us they play NYM) so I think that these two weeks in our division are big. Don't worry Fla fans I know you're dangerous.

No, Byrd will not lead you to the playoffs. He has a 5.26 ERA. What is sad is that Myers actually has a higher ERA, but Byrd will not help you guys get to the playoffs. He is on the decline of his career.
