Thinking about trying Husky which seems like a lower price option. Anyone have opinions on Husky?
Just checked price on Husky; only about $10.00 cheaper overall than WT (a little higher price but free shipping)

Thanks for the info. We may use the mats that came with the car until Black Friday deals. The Forester is my wife's new car and she really wants the WeatherTech liners!
Spent about $120 for Weathertech floor mats for my wife's Explorer. Now they want $179 plus $18 shipping for the Forester!
Do they discount at all, ever?

I don't know if it's cheaper if you buy from Amazon, but you may want to look into it. Anyway, my wife's RAV4 V6 has WeatherTech, but I have Husky floor liners on two trucks. The ones I have aren't necessarily cheap, but slightly cheaper than WeatherTech, are thicker, the floor is not as slippery, and are higher on the foot-rest than the WeatherTech.
Actually, many people think the Husky have better coverage behind the accelerator pedal and near the floor levels. It's an often discussed topic on the Subaru Forester. Org forum
I've been using $30 Costco all-season mats for years on my cars. They take a beating here in the salt belt but the underlying factory carpet's still in mint condition.

On my wife's RAV4, the WeatherTech liners aren't high enough on the footrest, and probably the gas and brake pedals. If you have snow on your shoes and place the left shoe on the footrest, some of the snow that is now melting finds its way between the footrest and the floor liner.
I've bought Weathertech for 4 cars and have never seen them on sale. Not only that but they don't even offer free shipping. Spent $500 on various WT items for my Highlander and paid $50 for shipping. You'll get nothing from WT. Next car won't be getting them unless they're the only ones making what I'm looking for.
