I tried this for my current car, and this website says that my car has never been in an accident, while both AutoCheck and Carfax show one prior accident on my car.
That web site is bargain basement. And not worth it as it shows almost nothing.
Check out VinCheck.info (https://vincheck.info). If you're looking for a true free VIN check or what we also call free vehicle history report then you must visit this website.
Wasn't accurate for my vehicle. And then it adds link below for some other report that may or may not be accurate.

These guys have had Ferrari owners list their VIN of Enzo's. Ferrari said they only made 399. Yeah, there's 493 current VIN for them on the site. Rolling back odometers, wrong car amounts...all driving costs up via lying, what a great company.
Carfax may list accurate data, but it certainly is NOT complete. As you'll see from many previous threads.
Also, my own experience: When I was shopping for a car I got the 30-day unlimited Carfax reports so I went ahead and ran my previous car. I'd had it for 6 years, from new, and it had been in 2 fender benders and 2 medium accidents. All were repaired in factory-approved shops and paid for by their insurance so all should have all been reported.
Two were correct, and two were not mentioned at all.
