What would you consider the best mid size SUV, used between 2008 and 2010.

Considering price, reliability and recalls or any problems?

Thanks

Best for what?
What's best for me may not be best for you ... what are your requirements (budget, size, performance, etc)?

toyota highlander, porsche cayenne i tend to hear alot of good stuff about those two. i also hear good stuff about the bmw x5 as well.

and as for the worst mid size suv it seems as if the range rover is always the main headache.

X5 and reliable should not be used in the same sentence.... I've had one going on 5 years now. I'd do it again because of all the other reasons, but don't call it reliable especially with all the gadgets these things have.

I would vote for a Lexus RX for your criteria - usually a female car (don't know if you care).

I'd say Acura MDX. Although the RX is very lux inside, there was that one particular nasty problem of unintended acceleration? I know it's due to the floor mats but better safe than sorry.

Without question the "best most reliable" mid sized SUV is the Chevy/GMC Tahoe.

I agree but those SUV are in the large category. I like the GMC Acadia and the Cadillac SRX.

Allow me to politely disagree.

The term "mid-size" is relative at best. Also the Acadia & SRX are classed as "cross over" vehicles NOT mid-sized.

The Nissan Armada, Toyota Sequoia etc. are on par with the Tahoe in size and ability in the midsize catagory.

I favor the Tahoe due to the ability to last for years and years when all the others are on the scrap heap !!

It's a true all American car...it's a Chevy!!!!

Armada and Sequoia are both in the large SUV camp

A cross over is an SUV the Acadia is a midsized SUV, a rather large one at that.

unless I'm misplaced here, none of the cars/SUVs/crossovers mentioned besides the Tahoe, Armada, and Sequoia are true body on frame SUVs and I would guess, based upon most of the general public, they also don't care whether they drive a true body on frame SUV as evidenced by how few there still are out there.

My recommendations are
Toyota Highlander
Honda Pilot
