Still not getting up at 11pm-4 am to watch the European and Asian races live. Great that they are adding these features but not if they come at the expense of broadcast.

Hmm, I see articles that say DirecTV carries ESPN3, but I don't see it on the channel lineup. They do carry ESPN2 and espnews, though. And I was just about to ditch them, too. Huh.

I have DirectTV but not a top of the line package, I think it's only second tier which I got to get NBCSN when they had the F! rights, or was it FOX sports? Is ESPN3 perhaps a streaming channel? I have many channels I never watch but don't see ESPN3 listed anywhere.

It is a streaming channel. I see that it is on my Roku.

ESPN3 is their online offering (either through their website or the ESPNWatch app). If you have ESPN through your cable provider, you get the streaming content in the app.

WatchESPN is offered on Roku also.
