NBC in, ESPN/TNT out (nascar, racing, car, cost)

NBC signs 10-year deal with NASCAR, replaces ESPN - ESPN

I feel mixed about this. I was never a fan of ESPNs coverage, but now they probably won't cover NASCAR as much. They're becoming the football and basketball network if you ask me, with MLB only reasonably covered when the other two aren't in season.

I loved NBCs coverage, but that was with Benny Parsons, I imagine we'll see Dale Jarret go over there.

I imagine Nationwide races will end up on Fox Sports 1. It will be weird to see ESPN without NASCAR stuff, definitely will eat into how often I view that network...

I don't care what network NASCAR is on as long as it's not PPV.

When NASCAR goes PPV I'm gone.

I actually didn't mind their coverage in comparison to the others, which is unusual, I usually prefer other networks to espn. I think NBC and NBC Sports Network are really trying to grow and will want to do a good job so lets hope so.

I get NBCSN, but if I had to pay extra for it, I wouldn't do it. NASCAR's just not worth the extra cost anymore. It's played out.

I think NBC does a good job with Indycar.

Since we don't have pay TV this could help shrink my sports bar budget.

I just hope they use announcer that know the specific sport unlike their Indy car coverage now.

As long as you have knowledgabe color analysis say Dale Jarrett and Larry McReynolds, I am fine with it.

Knowledgable and tolerable are two different things.
