It was interesting but it wasn't as action packed as both a truck race normally is as well as dirt race. Hopefully it gets better if they have a few more races in the future. Perhaps they could bring nationwide to dirt if the truck races work as well.

I loved this! I had no idea they were planning to race on dirt until I tuned in, saw "Eldora" written on the retaining wall, and could not believe what I was seeing! Well done NASCAR!
If you want to see trucks racing on dirt, watch the TORC racing. Amazing the punishment those trucks can take on the off road dirt courses. Sometimes on Speed, sometimes on CBS sports.
