I'll be flying through Dallas that day....I'm thinking about "missing" my connecting flight.

I've attended a few Indycar races at TMS and they were all great experiences.

Just went to the Izod Indy Fest at the Milwaukee Mile, a 250 mile race which is up from 225 last year. I don't know how many of you been to a race this year but maybe it was just this way at Milwaukee. There were more introductions and presentations and guest appearances and "give this guy a hand" kinda thing before the race even started. The race was supposed to start at 3 but unlike baseball where the ump looks down at his watch and points to the pitcher when it's 7:10, the race started 45 mins late. 3:45 is when the green dropped. They introduced every drive on the podium and then had them all get into a rubber wheeled trolley and drove around the track and waved to the whole crowd. Just start the race already!

Anyways it was a great time, I'm going to have to plan a trip to the 500.

The Indycar race was pretty good yesterday. I was REALLY disappointed that Marco didn't win. He's probably my most favorite driver and it's good for the sport when an Andretti wins. Of course coverage after the race on sportcenter was terrible. All they did was show the last lap and who won. But then again they usually don't even show that. And they wonder why rating are so low. And on top of that the only advertising I saw before the race was during the Nationwide race on Friday. Way to spread the word and expand your audience!

If you go to the 500, do NOT miss the infield museum, wonderful collection of cars.

I noticed that too and I watched it because of knowing about it because I know Pocono is a pretty good track and also an entertaining track. The race lived up to it. I felt bad for Kannan.

Speaking of TK, I was passing through the family room and he was on the Today Show w/ Ryan Hunter-Reay and Ryan Reynolds. They were promoting the movie Turbo with a skee-ball competition. Never realized how short Tony is. He looked like a dwarf next to Willie Geist.

Oh, yeah, I would have loved to have seen Kannan win. It would have been cool to see him go for one million dollars at California.

At least the ratings were decent. TV ratings for Pocono among best of the season

Isn't IRL shown on both NBC Sports and ESPN Sports? I know NBC Sports is nowhere near the penetration that ESPN 2 let alone ESPN has.
