I've got my eclipse glasses ready! Looking forward to seeing my first ever total eclipse of the sun.

Anyone else plan on watching today?

I saw it just now. It was pretty surreal. Tons of folks shooting fireworks too.

VERY disappointed. We saw very little of the eclipse, maybe 1 minute all together including a few seconds of the total eclipse, due to the cloudy sky. Damn Texas weather!!!!

Yea I agree. We had sunny days all week last week until this weekend and it decided to be overcast and grey. Still saw more than I thought I would and it was still pretty nice.

I saw it in Fredericksburg, Texas! Right up until Totality began I was certain we were going to be completely clouded out, but a miracle occurred, and we saw the entire length of totality. As soon as the second diamond ring appeared, the clouds closed in, and we missed the remaining partial eclipse. But we saw first, second, and third contacts, so I have no complaints!

We caught a couple of brief breaks in the cloud cover here by Round Rock, and saw the peak totality for a few seconds.
Very weird to have such a quick nightfall & sunrise at 1:30pm….
