Greetings all...about to celebrate one year in Austin and would like to thank all the helpful folks on this board. I hope I've been able to offer some advice based on my experiences, as well.

I'm wondering if any of you have contacts to help me find a chiropractor specializing in Upper Cervical or Atlas-specific chiropractic? I've researched the various associations(NUCCA, Atlas Orthogonal, etc) and have a number of DCs(listed) in the Austin area but would love some personal references, good or bad, regarding this specialty. I'm a believer in having one's spine in alignment generally; but , I am looking to explore this specialty. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks everso.

Austin Chiropractor - Drake Chiropractic - Chiropractor in Austin, TX (http://www.drakedc.com/ - broken link) Here is a link for Dr. Brian Drake. I used him a while ago and was very pleased with my progress. We wew specifcally working on head forward posture (which I believe is entertwined with UC Axis issues). His office is at Burnett and 290.

I think at least go speak with him about your needs and his practice. I believe you will be impressed.

I have a friend who has had good luck with Ditto Worley at Salus Chiropractic on Parmer. I have only seen him personally as a guest speaker for our MOMS Club, but he specializes in upper cervical (as well as pediatric) care.

I HIGHLY Dr. Ross at Four Points Family Chiropractic. I've been to other chiropractors and Dr. Ross's practice is like no where I've been before. It's a totally different approach to health. He does specialize in Upper Cervical Adjusments. Home
