Why is that ? I notice that what ever post or thread I create, you always have to make some type of contrary comment about it? I mean I don't go around to every single thing you've posted and make a comment.

posting here isn't the solution either. either run for office to fix the problems or admit that you're just ranting & raving.

I'd rather be the head of law enforcement so I can start with the corruption there.

OP, I just thought that given your opener:

Potentially Austin could be a great city but it assuredly has it's problems and
ignoring the problem isn't really the solution
and the implication that you make in it, context (your past posts) would be helpful in seeing where you're coming from. Nothing more, nothing less.

Hey, head north on IH35, then hang a right in Dallas, head up through Arkansas and head northeast! Should take a couple of days to get there!

Hey, you're miserable here, obviously, and you think you'd be happy in New England. What's unhospitable or vindictive about hoping you get your wish?

No offense, but that's the kind of reaction you could expect anywhere when longing for your beloved insert other area or state here instead of where you and those you're communicating with live. Maybe share it with people in New England if you want a different reaction? Again, no offense intended, just a thought.
