To be fair, its likely because of all the tech job and tech company relocations to the metro area which skew average earnings higher. I will say, it does give someone who is in tech more room to grow and progress their career, but someone not in tech or a comparable high salary role will likely have a difficult time competing with the hike in average salaries, as salaries outside of tech or high paying fields are likely not increasing anywhere near as rapidly.

Also leads the nation in inflation, increase in traffic, and unwanted migration from California.

Youre elected officials sure want it. They just have this idea that, after luring companies to move jobs from California to Texas, somehow they have this idea that the people whose jobs were moved here and had to choose between unemployment and relocation would just all the sudden vote red, become an evangelical Christian, buy guns, and listen to Toby Keith record.

Thats not how any of this works.

Only 2 out of 4 are necessary.
By the way, you'd be much more welcome in the land of cheese than you are in Texas.
By definition, Texas is not a place for you.

So you’ll bring the blue rot to Texas, ruin the place like it did to your former state, then get your job shipped to
China?
Good luck with that.

That post was largely tongue in cheek directed at the poster I was quoting who called me "Arab Scum" in another thread and accused me of buying my wife from Thailand even though we were both born and raised in the US.

But in seriousness, not all blue states are California and not all Red states are Alabama. I dont want a blue Texas. I want a purple one. If I were still living in California, Id vote red. I only vote blue here because, any state that is 100% dominated by one party, is subject to the extremes that party produces. That is what is happening in Texas and in California.

Fair enough, but I will say the first 40 years of my residence in Texas, the state was run tightly by democrats.
This current clown crew looks like they will gift you your wish.

PS - I was born in Georgia, my wife in Culver City, California.
