Just bought tickets to MotoGP weekend in April. However, I did not buy the official parking as it was ridiculously steep ($65 for Sunday with delivery charges)... c'mon now, i've seen plenty of rip offs but this ranks in the top. Even Disney does not charge this kind of parking on their most popular annual days.

I have been to COTA for MotoGP before (in 2017) and remember parking in one of the private lots around... anyone know if these are still an option? What do I need to make sure I score a spot - like coming early etc.

Any other options here? From what I know the shuttles that they run from other spots in Greater Austin for F1 don't operate for MotoGP.

TIA

The land owners out there will offer informal parking, just not sure it is the kind of thing you can reserve and pre-pay.

For F1 they run shuttles from various locations so I would think they would do the same for MotoGP but have never been to that event.
