Thanks all, Now i am considering Round Rock ISD too, Any Comparison between RRISD and LTISD? Looks like traffic and home prices are decent in Round Rock comparative to LT and Steiner Ranch. I really like Steiner Ranch but the traffic is really scaring me.

Remember, Round Rock ISD isn't limited to Round Rock, the city. The city of Round Rock is quite a ways from the "left side" areas you have been discussing, while the ISD goes a fair bit west into the city of Austin. Clear as mud, eh? https://www.roundrockisd.org/schools/

Avery Ranch has a similar feel to Steiner. Steiner has more high-end homes though, which if you're looking in the Grove, I'm guessing is more up our alley. Half of Avery Ranch is in LISD and half is in RRISD.

Have you considered Crystal Falls in Cedar Park (Leander ISD)? Convenient to 360/183 north, among other things.

Remember, too, that the individual school and the particular child are the most important thing and that a school that is awesome for one child will be not so much for another. We experienced that in our own family. You'll need to look at the particular schools with your child(ren) in mind, not just ratings.
