Kinda-sorta...but I wouldn't call either of those "at" Parmer. Thought he/she might know something about the Robinson Ranch northwest corner.

Thanks for the links. I knew a bit about the Pulte development; but hadn't heard about the CalAtlantic neighborhood.

Both are a bit land-locked; but great access to Parmer/45/620...not to mention pretty spendy per sq ft on the smaller units. Will be interesting to find out the HOA fees.

Thanks all...

How about Lake Travis ISD? Looks like Lake Travis ISD is 2nd in the list.. Any new communities there and also how would be the commute?

1. Eanes Independent School District.
2.Lake Travis Independent School District.
3.Leander Independent School District.

There’s about 97,000 threads on this topic. Do a search and come back with some specifics.

You can get a new build in Eanes as well.

As has been mentioned in many of the other threads on this topic, the kiddos will attend a SCHOOL, not a district. I don't think any district has all fantastic schools at all three levels, nor do I think it would be easy to find a district with NO good schools at any level.

You could theoretically live in a great district; but be zoned to a less than phenomenal ES, MS or HS(or all three). With the rapid growth, especially outside of Austin proper, you could end up living next door to a brand new school with zero track record(not necessarily a good OR bad thing!).

Exactly. In my area of RISD, elementary and middle has been historically great performing. the high school (which has a wider feeder zone) is consistently average. somehow the kids from the elementary/middle are getting a good education because they continue on to that average high school and go on to great schools afterward. If it was me, as far as college admission is concerned, I'd rather be the top 2% at Cedar Ridge than sub 10% at Westwood (hypothetical percentages here).

This is why some of the smarter 8th graders are forgoing their chance at LASA and heading to Reagan and Lanier instead, so they can be top 10% and get into UT and A&M at the schools I work at. It's all strategy
