Well, folks...I reckon it has arrived. 91 degrees, feels like 98 ! Five minutes catch with the pup and a hundred yard walk to the mailbox and back...drenched with sweat . For anyone who has arrived since last September, THIS is what the beginning of summer feels like. When the humidity gets baked out of the ground, we may actually be a bit more comfortable with the heat index closer to actual temps. Let's hope those actual temps stay in the 90s for a while!!! Whew !!!

Neighbor, if I may recommend a place for your auto tint, Shades of Texas has been around for a couple of decades in this area. Their auto location is on Cypress Creek Rd...near S. Bell Blvd...pretty convenient for us! VERY pleased with the job and price on our 'lots of glass' FIAT !

We need around 2-3 weeks of sun with no rain and the darn humidity will be burned off.

Right now it feels too much like Houston. Come here dry heat!

Yeah, that was the place that I called. The quoted prices were pretty reasonable.

Two months ago, yes . Although it was mainly the kids, since they are less adverse to the cooler water....

I've been very grateful for the delay in the summer temps. When summer starts when it's supposed to and not two months earlier, it makes the extreme months easier to tolerate. But yeah, the humidity for the next couple of weeks is going to be killer. Also glad we have a very full lake - now we just need to be able to swim in it!
