Looking for a three month lease for a two bedroom starting in October/November in downtown. I've checked airbnb/vrbo but the rates are really high ($6k+ monthly). What would be best bet to find a place or is it going to be really hard?

I'd recommend Craigslist or finding an apartment locator. Maybe as backup, if you can live near a major bus line, it'd be fairly easy for you to zip into downtown. That way you may have more flexibility with what lodging you can find. But if you need to live downtown for whatever reason, those would be my suggestions.

the general category is corporate housing. CWS corporate housing is one local company that does it. If I recall rates in the 3K range but that was quite some time ago..

I know a friend of mine have a two bedroom two bath furnished condo for lease at RR 620 near Mansfield Dam for $1475 per month. It could cost little bit more for shorter term leasing. You can PM me for the detail information.
