Thanks for the website AustinTRaveler--i will check it out! I agree with you DeepTrance on the schools, we have two children and that is a big issue for us. We will definitely go the opposite direction. We will definitely check out Bee Cave/Spicewood area too. Thanks everyone!

Briarcliff, from my recollection, is half way from SW Austin to Llano. It takes me about 30 minutes to go from Briarcliff area to Llano, and I'm a relatively slow driver who pulls over for speedsters along the way. Maybe I've got the location of Briarcliff wrong, but I think it's right next to Spicewood (or "Spacewood" as the old-timers call it, based on some of the original hippies who inhabited the area... like Willie )

Default Dripping Springs Schools? (vs. Llano, et. al) ?

W/re to moving more toward Bee Cave than Llano, Dripping Springs school district has been getting some pretty good reviews from what I've, including from my niece who has two kids in the school, and are more than pleased.
Read another post from someone who moved there, originally considering a private school, but were relieved to have their kids attend Dr. Spgs schools.
Anybody out there with any more first-hand knowledge of Dr. Spgs Schools?
