Does anyone have a recommendation for a good, thorough home inspector?? Any positive, personal experiences will be very helpful. I have never had a home inspection done before. Any advice for a first time home buyer??
Please HELP. Thanks in advance for your advice and recs!!!

We used Gary Hart. I think he might be overpriced. His inspection report comes with zero pictures, so if you are not there, you don't get to see anything he looked at specifically. I would shop around in this instance.

I used Gary and was happy with him. At the time (December 2009) I created an excel spreadsheet that listed costs, services provided, etc and found Gary to be a great value.
He is also well reviewed on Yelp.
Lastly, I have hit him up with some follow-up questions after the inspection, and he has always been nice enough to respond and give me his thoughts.
I would use him again.
