International Student
Looking to share a 2br place with another room mate.
Budget: Ideally 700-900 per person, 1400-1800 for a 2b/1b or 2b/2b
Do not need any special frills (gym, pool, etc) but wouldn't hurt to have it
Do not drive, need to be close to Bus/MARTA
Ideally can reach Center of the campus with in <30mins (Tech Green, https://www.google.com/maps/place/QJ...,+Atlanta,+GA/ )
Fast walker
Need a couple of large grocery stores nearby (walkable without car)
Need it safe and place to walk around
I have seen following Options
on-campus: long waitlist
Mid-town: Expensive hi-rises, per person pricing, too many frills
home park: seems hit and miss, have heard bad stories but I am sure it is sufficiently safe
down-town: south of GaTech (there are options but others have mentioned it is dodgy area)
Lindbergh: Is it a good option?
Howell Mill Mall Area: how is this area?
Is MARTA or Bus better?, are bus timing reliable during peak times with ATL traffic?
Can anything of area give feel of Johns Creek, Duluth?
