Hi,
My wife and me are looking to move to Atlanta, GA. We have a daughter and she goes to KG. We are looking for a safe, a kid friendly neighborhood for my daughter with whom we can go out for playing without any worries.

We are Indians and prefer a neighborhood where we can have some Indian culture around. It would be great if there is Indian locality around but we are fine without that it if the neighborhood is good enough.

I have few questions if anybody can provide detail information on those.

1) Where do most Indians live in Atlanta?

2) What areas have best Public and private elementary schools?

3) We would like to rent an apartment with 2 bed, 2 bath for a budget of $1000- $2500. What rental places should we look for?

Thank you so much.

What is KG?
Alpharetta and Sandy Springs both have sizable Indian populations.

There are a lot of Indians in North Decatur as well near North DeKalb Mall and a lot of Indian businesses in that area too.

I’m assuming kindergarten?

Nevertheless OP, you are looking at:

Cummins/Alpharetta/Forsyth county
Sandy springs/dunwoody
East Cobb
Kennesaw

In that order

There are tons of Indians in North Fulton (Alpharetta/Johns Creek especially). Is there any sort of commute need or working from home?

I will be looking for work close to location where we move. So most likely within 15 miles from the rental apt.

Below is a response of mine from a very similar thread from about 6 months ago. It is a list of apartment complexes known to have significant Indian communities. Given what you've stated, I would choose the Alpharetta area first, followed by Johns Creek, followed by the Perimeter area after that, and finally followed by the North Decatur/Scottdale area.

What field are looking for work in? Since you want to stay 15 miles of your future workplace, I would start researching where the jobs are in your field. That should take precedence over trying to find the best elementary schools.
