One working toilet in men’s bathroom with hundreds of people in the waiting area. What a total embarrassment for people coming into the city. I remember the old Bus Greyhound Bus Station near the Westin. The current station look like a hybrid of Pine Shelter and traveling customers.

What city doesn't have a Greyhound Bus Station that's a "total embarassment?"

More than you would think.

I totally agree with Atlwarrior. Ours is a huge embarrassment, and has been ever since it moved from International Blvd.

That's pretty crummy considering a lot of people probably held it for a long time because they didn't want to use the bathroom on the bus.

Are there businesses nearby riders can walk to if they want to use a better bathroom? I don't know where the Greyhound station is.

I'm sure there are exceptions to the rule (especially if it's practically a brand new station), but just doing a quick google search, you'll see a ton of complaints about Greyhound's dirty stations from Baltimore to Portland and a ton of points in between (including Dallas, where they're headquartered).

No, I'm not excusing the poor conditions of the Atlanta station, but just pointing out that poorly maintained stations are a problem throughout the entire Greyhound network and not an indictment of Atlanta or any particular city.

The one on International Blvd. was much better and the current ATL Station is way to busy to be operating like a third world nation facility. It’s a freakin huge trailer for crying out loud.
Furthermore who cares about other cities in this case. I’m talking about ATL.

I know what you're talking about, but my point is it's not an Atlanta-specific problem and there's not much Atlanta can do about it. It's a Greyhound corporate problem.

That is Greyhound's responsibility, not Atlanta. CoA could revoke their CO.

It's a greyhound station. Seems like all the nice stations are intermodal; not just Greyhound. Is there a nice Greyhound station?
