They were built by Ashton Woods around 2006-2007. The Flats at West Village is in Smyrna and the Flats at Riverwalk is in the Atlanta 30339 zip off of Windy Hill. Does anyone have any information about them such as demographics, amenities, etc or if you could point me into the direction to look that would be great. TIA

Both of the complexes are appealing in terms of architecture, and the units themselves are spacious, though some of the 2 bedroom units have a tight second bedroom.

In terms of environment, The Flats at West Village have many more amenities with local restaurants, bars, and shops in the complex. The bad news is that the condos back right up to I-285, so you would definitely need to find a unit that faces the opposite direction (west) to mitigate the noise (of course you will also lose any potential views of Midtown too, so use your best judgment).

The Flats at Riverwalk are along an office parkway and very wooded nearby. The Chattahoochee National Park is nearby as well for recreation. There are some stores along Powers Ferry Rd, but not nearly as convenient at the West Village. The other disadvantage is that the Flats at Riverwalk are along the flight route for Dobbins Air Force Base, and it can get quite loud sometimes. I looked at a condo in Parkwood Condos, which is just SW of Riverwalk, and the fighter jets were just too much for me to handle.

Hope that helps with your search.
