Have to agree with most of the others - Vistancia is pretty nice if you want to be close to the Lake Pleasant area. Also, you might want to look into Westwing - it's in far north Peoria. There are some customs on larger lots around the area you are looking in. If those interest you, maybe look into the resale market? However, saying that, where is your job going to be? We live in Arrowhead area, and unless you work fairly close out this way, the commute to anywhere else is the pits.

Some of the new retail shopping coming to N. Peoria at Lake Pleasant/ Happy Valley Rd can be found at this site: www.phoenixcommercialadvisors.com/retail/lakehapp.PDF (broken link) Also Barclay Group has a huge center across from the Target center and you can see some of the shops if you google Barclay Group. We also have a New Home Depot on another corner at this intersection that is almost finished. Things are changing.
