I ask because it seems that I see more cars are on the roads with no plates. Some states require two plates, some like AZ only have one, but is this a new trend to have no license plate at all?

If it is a temporary it can be displayed in the window...but if the tint is too dark you may not have seen it?

If you're buying a car in a private sale you are required to get the free 3-day paper plate that you use until you get to the MVD.

Lots of cars are stolen around here. Crooks steal the plates to put on cars they steal in place of the legit plate. Who pays attention to whether their plate is gone?

Misinformation. Under 50cc does not require a motorcycle endorsement, but it needs to be registered and insured to operate on public streets.
