The base model will do nearly double that distance. Typically, you stop a couple of times for about fifteen or twenty minutes at super chargers along the way. I don’t know the area, but you can look it up easily. Also, the car will route it for you.

As a side note I have a ‘23 Model 3. Everything is great except for a very stiff suspension and some wind noise. If you have decent roads it feels like riding on glass. Rough roads, however, are not fun. The roof is glass, which is why I think the wind noise is louder than typical. That being said, the tech and battery powered motors are, well, amazing.

I needed to replace my 9yo car and after much consideration I've ordered a BMW i5. It's currently on a ship in the North Atlantic heading to the west coast. It's been compared favorably to the i7 and will probably have less depreciation. 295 miles of range (and BMW is conservative on this), so within range from where I live in Prescott to Flagstaff and even Tucson. BTW, it includes 2 years of free charging at Electrify America DC fast chargers. Luckily, we have an EA charging station in Prescott now.
