If you're not familiar with The Week, it's a magazine, sort of an aggregator, that does a succinct job of covering global news, with snippets from a range of sources, including both sides of thorny issues.

They end each issue with one long piece, but it's a rarity for them to cover a single person in politics, as they did here. This is the original source, since The Week's own site mostly has a paywall.



Rusty Bowers was speaker of Arizona’s house of representatives when he stood up to the former president’s demand that he overturn the election result. He paid the price but has no regrets.
Come January, Bowers will no longer be an Arizona politician. He can now speak his mind.

LOL, he lost to an older candidate. The only difference is he lost to one that traffics in hatred and conspiracy theories. Age had nothing to do with it, clearly.
