Mayer belongs on that list also. As you saw, there is not much to it but the meth addiction and poverty in that area is huge. Not to mention the EPA has Mayer down as one of the most polluted soil sites in the country. Those poor people are drinking that polluted water that has huge amounts of carcinogens in it but since Mayer is so poor, they never get news worthy.

I drove up Rte 69 to Prescott for the first time in many years today. Everything from Dewey-Humboldt westward has grown exponentially. Was quite impressed with the growth.

Yet, Mayer still looks like a dirty pit and hasn't changed one bit. I find it comical on Rte 69 they have a 45 MPH speedzone for Mayer's "Business District". What business district ? A gas station and some restaurant that I saw one car parked at (probably the owner) ?

I turned west from Mayer from the Circle K onto 69 yesterday. I was real glad the limit was dropped down to 45 there cause it can be scary making that turn and dodging fast drivers.

The OP's never come back to answer questions about the point of this thread. There's been plenty of opportunity to "vote" but this thread will go very far downhill into areas beyond what I am guessing the original intent was.
