In China counterintuitively the hotter regions have blander food. Cantonese food is super bland and lacking in flavor, while the food from the colder Hunan, Szechuan, and Shaanxi regions is much more flavorful
A lot of food is lacking in spice and flavor. There are some good things to eat, but you have to go out of your way to look for them; even Chileans will admit that. Meanwhile in Peru, good food is almost on every corner
Cool! Although I don't eat fish either. Sometimes I forget to be specific about that. My hubby reminds me that "meat" does not necessarily encompass poultry and fish.
