All food and non-food contact equipment and utensils shall be smooth, easily cleanable, and durable, and shall be in good repair. NOTED WOOD AROUND EXPOSED HAND SINK IN THE KITCHEN IN POOR REPAIR WITH (BLACK STAIN AND ROTTEN WOOD) INSTRUCTED TO FIX OR REPLACE.----MUST PROVIDE COVER/LID FOR (CONSUMABLE) ICE CONTAINER.
All food and non-food contact surfaces of equipment and all food storage utensils shall be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized daily. INSTRUCTED TO CLEAN AND MAINTAIN STORAGE RACKS WITH MOLD LIKE BUILD-UP AND CONDENSER FAN COVER INSIDE WALK-IN COOLER.
The floors shall be constructed per code, be smooth and easily cleaned, and be kept clean and in good repair. INSTRUCTED TO SEAL GAP/OPENING ON FLOOR BASEBOARD NEXT TO REAR EXIT DOOR AND SEAL OPENING AT THE BOTTOM DOOR PLATE OF THE WALK-IN COOLER.
Ventilation: All plumbing fixtures, such as toilets, sinks, washbasins, etc., must be adequately trapped, vented, and re-vented and properly connected to the sewer in accordance with the plumbing chapter of the Municipal Code of Chicago and the Rules and Regulations of the Board of Health. INSTRUCTED TO REPAIR OR REPLACE BROKEN VENTILATION IN EMPLOYEE WASHROOM.-----MUST PROVIDE WORKING DRAIN STOPPERS AT ALL 3 COMPARTMENT SINK. (NOTED TOWEL USED AS A STOPPER AT 3 COMPARTMENT SINK IN THE KITCHEN).------MUST REPAIR LEAKY HOT WATER FAUCET HANDLE AT 3 COMPARTMENT SINK IN THE KITCHEN.----MUST FIX LOOSE FAUCET AT HANDSINK (LEFT SIDE) IN LADIES WASHROOM.
