iFLY Hollywood Indoor Skydiving

The thrill of free fall can now be experienced in Los Angeles without boarding a plane or even leaving the ground thanks to iFLY Hollywood Indoor Skydiving. This is not a ride or a simulator. Flyers actually make their leaps into a vertical wind tunnel, which buoys them up in the air on a torrent of wind reaching velocities of up to 120 miles per hour.

iFLY Hollywood Indoor Skydiving provides the gear and training needed to "fly" in the stream of rapidly rising air. Beginners from age 3 to 103 have enjoyed the experience, although children under 18 years old must have a waiver signed by an accompanying parent or legal guardian. More experienced flyers can do tricks or flips, and block of flight time can be purchased from 5 minutes up to a full hour of non-stop fun. Prices for individuals start at $59.95 for two flights, Family packs for five persons cost $239.95, including 10 flights, a personalized flight certificate for each flyer, and a DVD of the experience.

iFLY Hollywood Indoor Skydiving is located inside the Universal Studios CityWalk, just north of downtown Los Angeles, at 100 Universal City Plaza, Los Angeles, California 91608-1002. Parking is available in the studio parking areas - $20 per vehicle preferred or $10~14 general. The hours of operation are from 11am to 9pm daily, with extended hours until 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
