Redwood Empire Ice Arena


The Redwood Empire Ice Arena offers skating and hockey fans a chance to get on the ice in sunny Santa Rosa, California. The rink has been in operation for more than 40 years and offers public skating every day. The rink offers skating lessons for people of all ages and abilities from toddler through adult. Group and private lessons are both available. Lessons are taught by the professional skating staff at Redwood, enabling new skaters to learn the basics and more experienced skaters to work on polishing new skills. Groups lessons are offered in eight week sessions. Parent and child skating programs are also offered in the Parents and Puppy Practice program. These sessions are held on Sunday mornings and kids age eleven and under get to share skating time with their parents. Redwood's Coffee Club is adults-only skating sessions that are held twice a week. Grown-ups can enjoy coffee, donuts and skating. Freestyle skate sessions are held for those who have more figure skating experience. Skaters can practice their programs to music and have space on the ice to practice jumping and spinning. Snoopy's Adult Hockey League is a great way to get on the ice in a competitive fashion. The rink offers tournament play, as well as hockey games for less experienced skaters. The rink also provides hockey lessons for those who want to learn skating skills that relate specifically to hockey play.
