Monterey Bay Equestrian Center

The Monterey Bay Equestrian Center is at 19805 Pesante Road in Salinas, California. The equestrian center offers a variety of activities involving horses. You can go for a ride on the beach, ride in carriages, or sign your child up for a camp for a week. The carriages can be used for any special occasions such as weddings. For any special occasion you can also rent ponies. It is possible to rent a petting zoo for interaction with small animals.

They also offer private and group lessons for children and adults. They even have authentic Indian costumes for Hindu weddings, should you require it. The Monterey Bay Equestrian Center has daily rides along the beach. It is imperative that visitors call for reservations for any of the daily events or to make reservations for special events. The center has been open since 1981, serving the Salinas community.

The center will occasionally have horses for sale. These horses are of good stock and occasionally are retired from the horseback riding lessons and tours they provide. The center is for more than just horses, though. They also have pygmy goats that they breed and raise to sell.
