Hollywood Wax Museum

It is the dream of many visitors to visit Los Angeles and see a famous person from the movies or television. While this happens occasionally, chances are better you will see a few famous faces if you head to the Hollywood Was Museum. Located on Hollywood Boulevard, this museum has been open since 1965. It is conveniently located right off of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, so you can enjoy the complete Hollywood experience, all in one place. This is the only wax museum dedicated to only celebrities, so you are likely to see many of the famous faces you love from the movies and TV. Wax figures include John Wayne, Johnny Depp, Angelina Jolie, Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, Halle Berry, Charlie Chaplin, and Judy Garland, dressed as her character from the Wizard of Oz. Kids will love the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figures, as well as some other famous child movie faces. The collection also includes horror movie villains and some of the most famous movie moments of the 100 greatest movies of all time. Tickets range in price from free admission to $16 per person and packages are available for those who would like to couple their wax museum visit with a trip to the Guinness World Record Museum and Ripley's Believe It or Not. Special rates are also available for groups and non-profit visits.
