ComedySportz Los Angeles

ComedySportz Los Angeles is located at 733 Seward Street in Hollywood. For over 20 years, the improvisational theatre company has been providing various interactive entertainments for people of all ages. Their most popular and longest running show is "ComedySportz", which pits two comedy teams against each other in friendly competition. The audience helps pick out the sports and ultimately decides the winner.

Shows are on Friday and Saturday nights at 8 p.m. The College improv team shows are on Thursdays at 8 p.m. and the Sunday team shows are at 7 p.m. on Sunday. Free street parking is available and usually easily obtained.

Other improvised shows played at the National Comedy Theater include a musical based on the life of an audience member, a teen soap and a variety show. For corporate and private functions, two additional shows are available: a ComedyCourt and Blind Date. The ComedySportz group provides educational programs such as actor training, corporate team building workshops and a high school improv program.

The facility is available for rentals for film shoots, casting, corporate meetings and parties. There are two theater spaces available: the Mainstage, seating approximately 85 people and the Ball Room which seats 30 people. A spacious lobby and patio can also be used for catering, meetings and celebrations.
