Apple Lane Solvang

Apple Lane Solvang is a family owned and operated farm which produce many different varieties of apples. Visitors are welcome at the farm to view the process of farming apples and even help pick apples.

The farm produces Gala Apples in late August, Golden and Red Delicious in September and early October, Fuji and Granny Smith in October and Granny Smith in November.

Ted, Peggy, Kari and Jim Lane are the owners of the farm and are on hand to welcome visitors. They will take visitors on tours of the farm, teach then facts about the apples such as when the apple was introduce to America and that each year Americans consume up to 20 pounds of apples per year per person.

The Lane's will then show and help visitors pick their own apples which they can then take home and enjoy fresh fruit that they have picked themselves. Peggy and Kari Lane will also show visitors some of their favorite apple recipes using their apples that are all pesticide free. Another fun thing they will show visitors is how to make an Apple Pig!
