I have long wanted to visit Alaska again but am looking for a real rural experience. Could you recommend something in your area? I have been watching the Tweto's and the villages they fly into. I would love to spend time in the area.

I just wanted to comment about about the series Flying Wild Alaska. If it were only me flying the bush planes in such beautiful State.
I watch the episode where Ariel passed her solo (congrats) over and over again.
The whole Tweto family is very fortunate to be in the service of aviation.Wish it were me!
Maybe someday I'll make it there and go for a ride in one of the bush planes and land off airport.I began lessons here @GSO in Greensboro, NC.It would be much more exciting to train at UNK.
                  very truly yours,
                  Mike Jackson
