Description: This 720-seat theater was founded in 1960, and later re-named for the legendary literature instructor Watson B. Duncan III. Located on the main campus of Palm Beach State College, it’s renowned for presenting national and international modern dance companies; jazz, blues and folk musicians; and traditional chamber music ensembles. In an effort to better serve the community, the theater has now expanded its offerings to families, with its successful Weekend Family Fun Series. These programs present music and theater for children and families; and they’re educating a new generation to the beauty of the performing arts. Past events here include Stellaluna, Jesse Cook, Richard Alston Dance, Classic Album LIVE: The Beatles (The White Album), and Complexions Contemporary Ballet
