Description: Technically not a community college anymore, Miami Dade College is by far the best known community-type college in Miami and made the transition from community college to college in 2003. Now offering 4-year degrees such as Film, Television and Visual Production, Electronics Engineering Technology and Physician Assistant Studies, among other degrees, MDC also offers 2-year associate’s degrees and serves as a transition to the university level. The main campus for the college is in Kendall, but there are several campuses throughout the city. Check the website for details about each campus and their course offerings.
