Description: This park has 36 acres and boating access to the Intracoastal Waterway, along with 2,000 feet of frontage. You can go fishing in the Intracoastal here. You can play horseshoes, grill a steak at one of the picnic pavilions, and play volleyball, as well. This park is also the site of the Loxahatchee River Center (see Attractions).

Description: This 100-acre park is the site of the Seabreeze Amphitheater, a small sea-side venue that hosts a lot of good bands. There’s an exercise course with 20 stations, picnic pavilions, baseball field, tennis, and volleyball. Oh, yes, one other little thing—the park is on the ocean, with 3,000 feet of beach frontage. And if you get hungry, head for the Lazy Loggerhead Cafe.

Description: Dubois Park has a very scenic setting—it’s on a lagoon off the Jupiter Inlet (and you can swim in the lagoon). It has picnic areas with grills, and a playground. And it has a definite charm because the serenity of the setting has a very calming effect. In addition, this park is also the setting for the DuBois Pioneer Home, which is listed on the National Register of Historical Places (561-747-6639), as well as an old Indian mound.

Description: There’s 1,700 feet of beach frontage in this 46-acre park, along with a picnic area with grills, and a sand volleyball court. But the real stars here are the views of the water—and the water itself, where you can wash away all your cares in the soothing surf.
