The overall design, inspired by the Sonoran Desert, features a Shadow Walk with outdoor gardens and an inviting arroyo that flows through the walkway. The center houses 5 galleries of exhibition space and art studios that offer numerous classes each year in a wide range of crafts. The largest stage is in the 1,600-seat Ikeda Theatre.
